Drill #1 | 5 reps | 0:00 – 2:56

  • See drawing (1): With your right foot do an inside touch, then outside touch, then touch around the cones + ball. Finish with left foot into far right corner.
  • See drawing (2): Run around the cones backwards (facing the ball). Finish with your right foot in the far right corner.

  • See drawing (3): With your left foot do an inside touch, then outside touch, then touch around the cones + ball. Finish with right foot into far left corner.
  • See drawing (4): Run around the cones backwards (facing the ball). Finish with your left foot in the far left corner.

Drill #2 | 5 reps | 2:56 – 4:55

Same setup as drill #1 but without the side cones. Start with the first of the 4 balls on the left hand side.

  • Ball #1: touch with the outside of the right foot – fake a shot – perform an “L-drag”/Cruijff-move – cross to the right with your left foot.
  • Ball #2: start with your back to the goal – with your right foot: inside touch – outside touch – put your foot on the ball to drag & turn open facing towards goal – shoot near the left post.
  • Ball #3: start with your back to the goal – with your left foot: inside touch -outside touch – put your foot on the ball to drag & turn open facing towards goal – shoot near the right post.
  • Ball #4: touch with the outside of the left foot – fake a shot – perform an “L-drag”/Cruijff-move – shoot a cross-goal to the left with your right foot.

Drill #3 | 5 reps | 4:55 – 6:50

  • Start at the front cone in the center & run back to ball #1.
  • Ball #1: with the right foot: touch inside foot – cut back with outside – shoot near the left post.
  • Ball #2: with the right foot: touch outside foot – cut back with inside – touch with outside foot through the gate – cross to the left.

  • Run backwards to the left of the 3 cones – perform footwork: hop over each of the 3 cones with right foot first & put left foot next to it.

  • Ball #3: with the left foot: touch inside foot – cut back with outside – shoot near the right post.
  • Ball #4: with the left foot: touch outside foot – cut back with inside – touch with outside foot through the gate – cross to the right.
