• Go directly to the defender with pace and impose a threat.
  • Take small touches. A touch with every step.
  • Use the momentum and balance of the defender against him. Put the defender’s balance in other direction as where you want to go.
  • Your touch away must be EXPLOSIVE!

DRILL #1: back to “defender” – bounce ball against a hard surface – turn and attack the defender

DRILL #2: dribble a T-shape of cones. Imagine avoiding the defender’s outstretched leg.

DRILL #3: spread cones around you. Flick-up or bounce the ball – attack and dribble cone after cone around you. Beat them with a quick change of pace.
