The “Messi Test” is a series of 5 juggling exercises:

  1. Juggle left foot only
  2. Juggle right foot only
  3. Juggle alternating between left & right foot
  4. Thigh balls: keep the ball high with your thighs
  5. Headers: keep the ball high with your head

Every juggling exercise is executed during 30 seconds.
You count the number of consecutive touches without error.
It’s an error when you drop the ball or if the ball touches another body part.
Write down the highest number of repetitions after 30 seconds.

TIP: perform the test at least once per month & write keep track of the result.
